How can the REDDOXX appliance be updated?
The update to the latest software can be requested in the admin webinterface (\\Appliance-IP\rws\desktop) -> Administration -> Updates.
To check the current version and the available Hotfixes, the Firmware Diagnose can be used.
In the Firmware Diagnose, the Hotfixes can be installed additionally.
There are no differences between updating a hardware appliance and a virtual appliance.
It is required to update an appliance in the proper sequence.
All versions, service packs, hotfixes, etc., need to be downloaded and installed in chronological order.
When no more updates are available, then the appliance is running the newest software version.
