How can I manage public folders and e-mail distribution lists?
Enter the e-mail aliase in the REDDOXX Appliance.
You can assign e-mail aliases to an existing user or a new local user.
After creating a new user, a password has to be set for this user.
With this new account you can log on to the user interface (REALM=local).
Via Settings -> E-Mail aliases -> double click on the corresponding address -> select checkbox on deputy, you can define deputys that may manage the mailaddresses of this account.
Another way is to use configure a deputy policy in the admin webinterface.
With version 2032 it is possible to select "Enable Group Addresses" for Active Directory Authentication Servers in the advanced tab of the Realm Konfiguration.
This way, the user has Access to all alias addresses that are configured via exchange distribution or security groups
These addresses can then be selected in the Userinterface,Webinterface,Outlook Addin or Mobile App via Maildepot -> "Select deputy" and be used for Maildepot queries
